In this personal share (sorry about the tears), I talk about what unfolded for me in the last 4 weeks. It is raw and honest, and I felt the need to share it.
Please watch the video and then read this post if you can. It’ll make more sense.
FROM FEELING STUCK TO FEELING FREE!
When we experience beautiful awakenings or profound healing, it’s natural to feel different… we are changing, our layers are shedding away and we are not who we were anymore.
And sometimes because those moments are so powerful, our very human self will want to relive those moments again and again. We remember how they opened our hearts, shifted our awareness, or connected us to something greater.
But if we’re not careful, we can become attached to the experience itself and start longing to recreate the feeling, instead of carrying forward the wisdom it offered us.
In doing so, we risk getting stuck, moving back into a past experience rather than stepping into the unfolding mystery of what comes next.
One of the things I have learned on my spiritual path is the way we integrate those awakening moments, deep healing experiences in the present moment without getting attached to them, because True Integration means Allowing the moment to change us, not bind us.
I am sharing this practice as it is a gentle invitation to reflect, gather and then let go.
In those moments of feeling the need to go back, to relive or recreate, stop, taka a step back, place a hand on your heart and come back to the breathe.
Ask yourself these three questions:
What did I learn from this moment?
How did it change me?
What wisdom do I carry now because of it?
Then after a moment of reflection or meditation, say: “I honour this moment. I carry its wisdom. I let go of the rest with gratitude and love.”
This is how we honour the sacred without becoming trapped by it, and by letting it move through us and become part of who we are, rather than something we try to return to.
Sending you love
