Not Everything Changes in Perimenopause

Perimenopause brings changes, and sometimes these changes are very painful. Our body’s energy is constantly shifting, we don’t sleep well, and our moods are like a rollercoaster. We grieve lost versions of ourselves. We wonder who we are becoming, and some days, we don’t know who we are anymore.
And yet…
Not everything changes.
At the core, beneath the hot flashes, the hormonal chaos, and the search for identity, we are still the same essence, the same divine love that always is…
Yes, this is a tough threshold! And yes, it can feel overwhelming, as if our life has turned inside out.
And so, in those heart-wrenching moments, I invite you to stop and observe.
Observe your thoughts
Observe your feelings
Observe the sensations moving through the body
Without judgement
Without the need to change or modify
Simply observe and go back to the breath.
Place a hand on the heart and one on the Womb
Observe
Do not judge
And come back to the breath.
One of my favourite practices is simple and yet powerful:
Go outside (no matter the weather), lie down on the Earth, Mother and ask Her to take your pain. Allow yourself to release the pain in her Womb, because She knows how to transform it.
Then come back to the breath and remind yourself:
“I am Divine Love”!
