Unmotivated? Listen to this share!

Unmotivated and Perimenopause are two things that come hand in hand. With the hormonal fluctuation, the changes that are happening within and without, it is easier to feel tired and unmotivated during this threshold.

Today, I am sharing a simple and yet powerful tool I use when I feel that way.

When I feel unmotivated, I gently remind myself that “She’s waiting for me.”

And so when I need to practice, to train and to work on myself, I simply feel into or think about the future version of me.

I see her strong, vibrant, deeply rooted in her body.

She is not in pain, but she is stronger and shaped by the small or big choices I make today.

So when I don’t feel like moving, when I’d rather scroll or stay in bed, I think about her.

I think about the woman who feels empowered in her skin, who walks through life with energy, ease, and grace.

I'm not asking for perfection, but I feel grateful because I'm showing up for myself and her today.

And with that thought and feeling I start moving, connecting with my breath.

In that shift, I don’t feel any pressure, I don’t see it as punishment, but an act of devotion to the woman I’m becoming.

Motivation returns not loud, but steady and rooted in love.
